My dear Dr. Stearns:
We are very much pleased that you can arrange for Helen and Alfred Tsai to spend next week-end with us here in Worcester. We had many delightful meetings with their father while in Peking, and we should like to entertain the young people and become acquainted with them. It is our wish that they arrive in Worcester as early as it is convenient on Saturday morning, April 2nd. I think there is a train coming out from Boston that will get them here a little "before ten. We should like to know when to expect them, and we will be at the station to meet them.
If you will give me Mrs. Hye’s full name and address in Weymouth we will agree to deliver them to her, in good condition on Sunday evening, April 3rd. That will make a pleasant Sunday afternoon drive for the group and simplify matters for Mrs. Hye.
Sincerely yours
