My dear Furman:
One hundred pardons please for my negligence. I remembered my obligation the next day after seeing you, but delayed action until I could see and secure the approval of Sun Fayuen, This I was unable to do and in the meantime the matter wholly clipped my mind.
I inclose two checks for $4.00 each to cover the deposits asked for, and I hope that the boys will feel perfectly satisfied with the goods when they arrive.
Sincerely yours,
