Dear Sir:
I inclose herewith check for $107 to cover the accompanying bill against my ward, Mr. Sun Fayuen. I will be obliged to you if in the future you will refuse to allow the boy to contract bills without authorization from me. This request is made with the approval of Mr. Tong Kaison, the boy's guardian in China, who has recently been here and talked over Mr. Gun's case very fully with me.
Very truly yours,
