Dear Mr. Stearns:-
We were yesterday telephoned by Mr. P. Sun who said that he had lost one of your checks for $10. and who asked us to look out for it, which we of course agreed to do. This morning we have written word, apparently from him, that the check No. 315 of which he telephoned us has been returned to him. Your check #316 for $10. to the order of S. C. Luk, has been presented and we have paid it, but we are not certain whether this is the check about which Mr. Sun telephoned and wrote or not.
We should be glad to hear from you in regard
