Dear Sir:
Thank you for your note of explanation just received. I am glad to know the facts connected with Mr. Sun’s operation, and under the circumstances I have no disposition to criticize the charges made. I have been through the operation myself, and I only hope that the money which the boy has invested will net him a better interest in the results secured than has been true in my own case.
I inclose herewith check to cover the bill in question, and shall be pleased to have you return the receipt to me at the above address.
