Description

Typed letter sent from Alfred E. Stearns to Dr. Timothy J. Reardon. Thanks Reardon for explanation of surgery. Had same operation and hopes it provides Sun more relief than it did himself.

Transcription

Dear Sir:

Thank you for your note of explanation just received. I am glad to know the facts connected with Mr. Sun’s operation, and under the circumstances I have no disposition to criticize the charges made. I have been through the operation myself, and I only hope that the money which the boy has invested will net him a better interest in the results secured than has been true in my own case.

I inclose herewith check to cover the bill in question, and shall be pleased to have you return the receipt to me at the above address.

Very truly yours,
