Mr. Fayuen Sun,
11 St. James Avenue,
Boston, Mass.
My dear Sun:
I have just received your letter of the 27th inst. Inclosed you will find a email check, and I will endeavor to send you more when I can arrange a further loan at the bank. As it is I have already borrowed $1000., which has been exhausted, and until further funds come from home I must be as careful as I can with disbursements.
If you are to stay in Boston it seems to me in every way desir-able that you should continue your school work. Can't you arrange to go to Chauncy Hall for the present? If that is not possible, there must be other similar schools that would take you. Neither Mr. Tong, your father, Mrs. Hall, or myself, would or can approve of having you remain in Boston under no school regime.
Very sincerely yours,
Principal
