My dear Sir:
I have your letter of the 15th inst. Mr. Tong Kaison had already written me explaining the necessity for readjusting the plans we had previously agreed to in connection with Mr. Fayuen Sun’s further work. The boy is still in Boston attending the Chauncy Hall School; consequently I am not in very close touch with him, though I am continuing to handle his finances. His younger brother is still with us and is a thoroughly fine boy though a rather slow student. Fayuen was always a hard proposition for us, but I hope he has gained something from his American life and experience. I should be glad of course to carry out Mr. Tong’s wishes and hence will continue to look after Mr. Sun’s funds until I have received further instructions.
Very sincerely yours,
