My dear Miss Young:

In the absence of Principal Stearns I beg to reply to your favor of the sixth instant.

We are sorry to learn that Mr. Chu’s health is not good and sincerely hope that the summer may prove beneficial to him in this way. Dr. Page of our faculty has general oversight of the health of all of our students and as each new boy is given a thorough physical examination on entrance I am sure he will be interested in Mr. Chu’s case and do what he can for him. It will certainly be advisable for the young man to take the best care of himself that he can during the summer as he will no doubt be very busy after he takes up work here.

Very sincerely yours,
