Dear Sir:-
I am referring your letter inquiring about the former Chinese Ambassador to Dr. Charles D. Tenney of Cambridge, who I think will be able to give you the information you desire. The Minister's name is Chentung Liang Cheng. He was for a time in the foreign service at Pekin [sic], but has recently been appointed director of the Hankow Railroad. I imagine that a letter sent to that address would reach him, but Dr. Tenney will be able, I think, to speak with more definiteness.
Very truly yours.
Principal.
