College Entrance Examination Board
COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

July 18, 1907
Mr. Yik Sing Wong,
Ithaca, N. Y.

Dear Sir:-

Replying to your letter I beg to say that it is impossible for the College Entrance Examination Board, to give you a rating for your examination in physics owing to the fact that you failed to submit a laboratory note-book in connection with the examination. Under the rules of the Board the submission of a laboratory note-book is an essential part of every examination in a natural science.

The only course that we can suggest is that we should forward your answer-book with an explanation of your case to the authorities of the College that you expect to enter.

Faithfully yours,

[signed Thomas S. Fiske]
