Principal,
Phillips Academy, Andover, Mass.
Dear Sir:
Would you care to accept a shield in dark oak, upon which is mounted the coat-of-arms of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in bronze? This would make a handsome and suitable ornament to be hung in the corridor of your school. It is about 16” in height and about 15” in width at the upper part of the shield. It is very well made.
A number of schools have asked us to send them something of this kind and so we have had a few of these shields made. I should be glad to know if you would care to have one.
