Dear Alfred:

I did not realize until your two notes reached me this week that one of the teachers up there was connected with Mr. Sanborn’s summer camp. This particular camp is the one that I would naturally have chosen first for you, and I have this morning talked with Mr. Sanborn to confirm your application for admission. One or two of my Chinese wards have been to the camp in the past, and it commends itself to me as being one of the best and one that will especially meet your needs at this time.

Very sincerely yours.
