Dear Helen:
Thank you for our last note and congratulations on the good news from home. You must be immensely relieved, and I don’t wonder. I hope now that the letters to your father, which I recently forwarded to you and which had been previously returned from China undelivered, will get through to their destination safely.
I hope to be able to see you again before many days.
