My dear Tu:
Dr.Stearns has left for a short vacation and your letter of July 4 has been received in his absence. He will return to Andover for a few days about July 20, at which time your letter will, I am sure, receive his prompt attention. If you explain to the camp authorities that Dr. Stearns is away and that he cannot send you the money until his return, I am sure they will understand.
Very truly yours,
Secretary to Dr. Stearns.
