Dr. A. E. Stearns, Andover, Mass.

My dear Dr. Stearns:

I have yours here regarding Mr. Tu.

I have not discussed with him every detail of his summer vacation. I trust that he will give me a schedule of his movements or else send it to you. The latter, I would suggest as you are his guardian and you should know his whereabouts, and are the one to O.K. his plans.

Mr. Tu is more careful about spending money although he still spends freely and has a great deal of machinery, cameras and practically all he needs, and is talking of getting a seventy-six dollar camera. Of course, you know his inclination in that respect.
I think he has passed his English and Algebra for the year.
I will write to you again when I have another talk with him. If you have any suggestions for me to convey to him, I will be very glad to receive the same.

Sincerely yours,
