My dear Mr. Steams,

ON the 2nd February, in replying to your favour of the 29th December, 1925, I encloses a cheque for $1000. and as I have not received any letter from you since then, I doubt whether the letter and cheque have not reached their destination. I am anxious to hear from you and to know how far my son has obey your instructions, and progress, according to my calculation and to avoid the trouble of your borrowing on his behalf, I enclosed herewith another cheque for $600, when it reaches you I shall be pleased for an early acknowledgment.

With best wishes and kindest regards,

Yours ever sincerely
