Explained to Tu can't make medical, dental, or clothing bills without his or Stearns' sanction. Explains the bill was for electrial treatment and the bill can be paid. Believes Tu is inclined to overspend in these matters. Asks if Stearns plans for Tu to spend winter vacation in New York City. Asks Stearns to send money for Tu's vacation. States Tu is doing well and making progress in English studies.
