My dear Mr. MacDaniels:
Thank you for your letter of October 30.
I am very willing that Mr. Tu should pass his Thanksgiving recess with friends in Rochester, as requested. The boy seems to be able to handle himself properly and I have never seen any indication that he was disposed to take advantage of favors of this kind which had been granted him in the past.
