Dear Dr. Stearns:

Your letter of Aug. 26. was received this morning. I am so glad to accept your advice. But I am afraid that the entrance examination given by Phillips Academy will he too hard to me. If I fail in entrance examination, how shall I do?

The Genesee Seminary is not a school of Theology. It is a high school established by the Methodist Episcopal Church, which also gives good courses in any field.

With your kind advice I am now planning to go to Phillips Academy. The Chinese Students Eastern Section Annual Conference will be held in Syracuse, Lew York foam Sept. 4th to 12th. I am leaving for Syracuse to-morrow. After the conference I shall be back ime6lately. Would you please send a check of $90 to me for the expenses of next month including raidroad fares? Please send the check to the following address.

K. Y. TU, Chinese Students’ Conference, Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York.
