“Genesee Wesleyan Seminary, Lima, eighteen miles south of Rochester, was established by the Genesee Conference in 1832. It enrolls over two hundred boarding and day students, nearly all from New York State. A variety of courses is offered both in the elementary and high school work, but college preparation is emphasized. Rev. Earl D. Shepard, D. D. is president.”
