Dear Dr. Stearns:

Mr. K. Y. Tu has applied for a room in our dormitory and referred us to you for information concerning himself.

We believe you will appreciate that our ideal is not merely to provide lodging house or hotel accommodations, but to have a wholesome, friendly, Christian atmosphere in which men will find good fellowship and stimulating activities.

We desire to admit young men whom we can help and who can help us, by entering keenly into the life of the Association.
If the questions on the other side of this letter will assist you kindly use them.

Thanking you and anticipating an early reply,
I am

Sincerely yours
E.Bourgeois
