In the absence of Dr. Stearns I wish to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of July 18 with receipted bills enclosed. Dr. Stearns is up at his camp in New Hampshire but will probably return to Andover the latter part of this week or the first of the next. As soon as he returns, I am sure you letter will receive his prompt attention.
