Dear Sir:

I am very sorry to inform you that Mr. K. Y. Tu has been sick for about two weeks and is now at the City Hospital suffering from rehaumatism. His doctor advised him to stay in the hospital for at least one month.

At present he does not have any more pain except feeling weak. Before he was sent into the hospital he had been under the treatment of Dr.Albert Evans, 416 Malboro St. Boston, who has sent a bill to Mr. Tu for about thirty or thirty-five dollars. Mr. Tu asked me to write you for $100.00. According to my and Mr. Tu’s idea, the doctor’s bill is much too high, and believe a less amount would be accepted if he is told of the financial condition of Mr. Tu. Tu hopes that you will write a letter to Dr. Evans to that effect.

Yours truly
