My dear Mr.Tu:
Your letter of June 19, the receipt of which has been acknowledged, by my secretary, is before me and I thank you for it. As my secretary has already advised yon, the check for $600.00 has been deposited to the credit of your boy and will be used in his behalf as carefully and wisely as things permit.
Kong has faced a rather serious handicap this spring through illness, from which, however, he seems to be fully recovered at this time. He had the best of hospital care, but naturally this involved some extra expense, and expense which I am sure was more than justified under the circumstances.
Very sincerely yours
