HOTEL METROPOLE, LONDON,w.c. 2.
February 16th, 1930

Dear Dr. Stearns

The Chinese Legation informed us this morning that you had made inquiry about our address. Unfortunately it did not get your address, and thus I have not been able to communicate with you. Since our arrival at England, Admiral Tu and staff have been at Portsmouth. We returned last evening.

Unfortunately we will have to leave again tomorrow morning for Plymouth and will return on Thursday and on the same evening will leave again for Barrow and return on the morning of Saturday. I shall be highly obliged if you will be kind enough to communicate to me your London address so that Admiral Tu will call on you any of the days that he may be in London. Your letter can be sent here, and the hotel will keep it for me. With regards.

Yours sincerely,
Hollington K. Tong
