Place: Amherst College, Amherst, Mass.
Terribly sorry not to see you at Amherst during my hurried visit, Every minute occupied but I called at dormitory before I left. Did not find you. Have just received following wire from your father: "Please tell Charlie take summer course general secretarial work including shorthand typewriting. Best wishes" I suppose you have received direct instructions yourself but will be glad to talk situation over with you if you desire.
