My dear Mr. Tu:
Allow me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of September 26 with the accompanying check for six hundred dollars to be credited to the account of your nephew, Kong Y. Tu, and to be used in meeting the letter's necessary school and other expenses. So far as I can judge, Kong seems to be working this year at his business course with enthusiasm and ambition.
Please remember me most warmly to your brother, whose friendly sympathy and cooperation I co deeply appreciate, and believe me, with kind personal regards,
Very sincerely yours,
Mr. F.S.Tu
