I have your letter of September 14 and am enclosing a check for five hundred and fifty dollars as requested.
I congratulate you on getting those extra credits at Columbia this year, and I hope, as I naturally believe, that you will be successful in securing the balance needed for your graduation at Middlebury at the early date mentioned in your letter.
Here's wishing you every success, and the hope that we will have a chance to see each other before the fall term is over.
