My dear Mr. Wells:
I can’t begin to tell you how thoroughly I appreciate the care you you have taken in following up the case of my Chinese ward and the helpful attention you have given to his peculiar needs. This latest report of yours is certainly the most satisfactory that has come to me for several years, and I am taking the liberty of passing it on to the boy’s father, who I am sure will be pleased to receive it.
I can only hope, though I dare not predict, that Tu’s recent spurt will develop something savoring of permanency.
Again thanking you for your deeply appreciated cooperation,
believe me
Very sincerely yours,
