My dear Dr. Lent:
I am enclosing herewith the statements covering Mary Sun's work and which have just been sent me by the Principal of the Whittier School, where Mary is at resent studying. These will probably give you a fair idea of the character and extent of the work still needed and to be provided for during the summer months to enable Mary to enter Elmira College in the fall as well prepared as practicable to meet the requirements of your institution;
