Dear Dr. Stearns:
When I arrived at Boston after having had my unforgetable [sic] interview with you in Andover, I caught a train going from North Station and I was in Amherst the same night. Although the travelling made me a wee bit tired, I felt really fine.
Last Saturday, the day when I got back from Andover, our basketball team played Williams, and our men did splendidly by defeating Williams, who had won from us two weeks ago. Although I didn’t go, it was said the game was very exciting and the cheering was exceptionally good.
Very sincerely yours,
