My dear Mr. Hatch:

Thank you for your good letter of March 24.

I am sending your letter on to Mr. Sun at Amherst and with it a check to cover the total amount of his indebtedness and am asking him to forward you at once the three separate chocks specified. It seems to me better to handle the matter in this way. Please let me know, however, in case any delay occurs in the receipt of the checks. I have asked Sun to forward those to you at once and hope that he will be able to do so, though it is just possible that he may be away for a few days during his college vacation.

Please let me thank you for the courtesy extended to me and my ward in this matter. It is always a source of satisfaction to deal with responsible firms and their gentlemanly representatives.

Very sincerely yours,
