My dear Admiral Tu:
Your letter of November 20, enclosing a draft on The National City Bank of New York to the amount of $116.00, has been received in the absence of Dr. Stearns. This draft is being deposited in the bank here to cover the amount overdrawn on the account of your son K. Y. Tu.
Dr. Steams is in the hospital recovering from an operation. He will not be able to return to the office for a month or more, but as soon as he does your letter will be called to his attention.
Very truly yours
