My dear Mr. Holland:
In accordance with our conversation over the telephone this morning I am enclosing a draft on the National City Bank of New York to the amount of one hundred and sixteen dollars ($116.00), which has been received in Dr. Stearns absence. This was sent to Dr. Stearns by Admiral H.K. Tu and to be credited to the account of his son, K. Y. Tu, who was one of Dr. Stearn’s Chinese wards. If K. Y. Tu’s account has been closed, will you please deposit the draft to Dr. Stearns Agent Account.
Very truly yours,
