Dear Mary:
Thank you for your note of February 4. I have already sent my apologies, so there is nothing further to cause either of us to worry.
Just when will you be free enough from your work to give me a chance to see a little of you if I should happen to come to New Haven? I shall probably have to go down there before long to look over some candidates for our teaching force. If I do go, I hope to have a chance to talk with you and Tom about your plans.
So please let me know when you will be free from your regular duties, and when if before these are over there will be any chance of my seeing you.
With best wishes, believe me always
Very sincerely yours,
