My dear Mr. Sun:
Soon after Christmas a package came for you in care of Dr. Stearns, and it was from B. Wong, Shanghai. Dr. Stearns asked me to forward it to you, which I did. Because of some customs rules the package has just been returned here. The package contained a can of Pork Flavia and a handkerchief.
As the Flavia was not in good condition, I am not forwarding it to you again. I am enclosing here with the handkerchief.
Very truly yours,
Secretary to Dr. Stearns
