My dear Sun:
Your letter of February 12 has been received. I have spoken with Mr. Hopper and he says that he does not feel that he can send you the money for a Ford car without Dr. Stearns's sanction. Would you care to write Dr. Stearns and ask him if he is willing that you should have the money for the car at this time. If he is willing and will cable you or Mr. Hopper to that effect, Mr. Hopper will send you the money.
Dr. Stearns's address is: Care of Brown, Shipley & Co., 123 Pall Mall, London, England.
Of course Dr. Stearns is traveling and there may be some delay.
Very truly yours,
Secretary to Dr. Stearns
