Dear Tom:
Thanks for your last and interesting letter. I am enclosing check for five hundred dollars as requested. Kindly sign and return the accompanying receipt.
I shall look forward to the chance to talk with you more fully when you come down next month. Don't forget though that our own commencement comes about the time you have suggested for your visit, and that June is naturally about the busiest month of the year for me. Even so, I am sure that we can find a chance some where to sit down and talk over your problem, which I grant you is a real problem and one which we must handle with tact and care.
With all good wishes, believe me
Very sincerely yours,
