Dear Mr. Stearns,

I have been so busy, that is why I haven't written to you. I am now work ing in isolation and we are rather busy.

I shall be going on my vacation soon & after that I shall be going to Butler Hospital & affiliates for two months. The senior class of each year goes there for the psychiatric work. My income is getting low-- Would you send me four hundred dollars at your convenience? It would be for my sum mer expense & Butler affiliation fee which will cost about 100$ as I was told. I am sending you my account. You may see that I had to get a new supply of uniforms that are required.
June 6 is your birthday. I wish you will have the happiest birthday that you every had before.
