Dear Dr. Stearns.
I arrived here last night and am doing as instructed to inform you as to my whereabouts. The above address is only temporary, and as soon as College begins, my address will be:

Middlebury College
Middlebury, Vermont.
Charlie is still at Boston, and the date of his departure I do not know. Frank Lin is going back to China this September, or he plans to do so. I presume that Arthur and Quincy had arrived at Chona [sic] by this time.
