My dear Mr. Sun:
I have just been advised by the local bank of the receipt from you of the sum of $5,000, which I am crediting, according to the usual custom, to Arthur, Charles, Thomas, Mary, and Quincey Sheh,-$1,000. to each account.
I sent you only several days ago statements covering the expenditures to the middle of November, and I trust that these will reach you safely.
