My dear Dr. Stearns,
Regarding the draft for $5,000.00 (Gold) mentioned to you in my letter of May 18th, I have received official intimation from the Bank that this amount has been transmitted by telegraph through the Irving Bank, Columbia Trust Company, to your credit. Trusting this draft has reached you long before this confirmatory information arrives and that you will credit this sum to the children as usual.
