Thanks for your good letter, and congratulations on your scholastic success to date. Keep it up and keep the expenses down. That kind of a combination means a good education.
If you can conveniently get around here during the Christmas holidays, so that we can talk things over together. I shall welcome the chance to see you. I regret that I am not in a position this year to provide Christmas hospitality, and Christmas festivities for my Chinese and other friends.
