Dear Helen:
Your letter of August 6 should have been answered long ago, but it has been very difficult to keep up with my correspondence while at my summer camp, and I felt that there was nothing I could offer at the moment that could be of any special help to you, knowing as I did that you were in such excellent hands at Mrs. Nye's. This note is written just to acknowledge the receipt of your good letter, thank you for it, and to wish you a fine school year. I feel confident that this year at Saint Mary's, now that you are so well acquainted there, will prove even a happier and more profitable one than that recently closed. Success and good luck to you!
Very sincerely yours,
