My dear Dr. Stearns:
I would like to have you do me a great favor. Would you mind send me my golf club to camp? They are at Mrs. Erving's. Also tell her these clubs are in my room. I wish that is not to much trouble for you to do so.
Well, I had a lovely caone [sic] trip just a few days ago. Stoped [sic] at the front of your brother’s; the boys and I waved to them.
Mr. Geogre [sic] K. Sanborn thought I did better stay until the last day of camp, but I wish I can have more time to see Helen. He said to me once before that if I would like to go early he will let me go. I have written [sic] to Mrs. Nye to ask her if she be willing to take me then or not.
Well, I hope that you enjoy youself [sic] as much as you can.
Very sincerely yours,
