My dear Seetoo:-
Many thanks for your letter received this morning. I am sorry to learn that we are not likely to have you with us next year, but i can readily understand why you feel the necessity of hastening your admission to college. May you be successful in getting into the Institute, and successful also in securing the Government aid you desire. I shall be very glad to write the Institute in your behalf, and am forwarding today a statement covering the work which you have had here, and certifying to your good character., It is our custom to send statements of this kind direct to the secretary of the institution concerned.
I am interested to learn that Mr. Yeh is planning to enter Phillips this fall. I shall be glad to meet him and Mr. Chen when they came to Andover this week.
With very good wish to you, and assuring you of my hearty and continued interest in your work and progress, believe me
Very sincerely yours,
