My dear Alfred:
Thank you for your note of August 1st. I am sending for the stationery, as requested, and trust that it will reach you safely.
I am glad to know that you are enjoying camp so much. I am sure it will do you a lot of good. I only wish that you were located on the other side of the lake, so that I could get an easier glimpse of you now and then on my trips to my own camp farther north.
Please give my heartiest greetings to Mr. and Mrs. Sanborn, and believe me with all good wishes
