Dear Helen:
I greatly appreciate your friendly little note of October 30 and feel very much ashamed that I have not kept in closer touch with you lately. It has been impossible for me to find the time, however, for the long planned visit and for letters, though I have thought of you often and have hoped and believed that you were getting on well and were happy in your life and work. Mr. Robinson stopped at the house a day or two ago and told me that you seemed to be both well and happy, and of course that relieved me a lot.
Take all good care of your health, and don’t forget to get plenty of wholesome and out-of-door exercise.
Ever sincerely yours,
