Dear sir.

I received your latter on last Saturday. You should know my lessons are hard than last year. I try my best all time. I study every night and ervry [sic] day do my work like the rest boys. But I can't get very well. Will you mind give a chance to study? This year I got lot of work to do.

English are Treasure Island and Grammar. My French is a Grammar book too. And Algebra is first year. Now I am going to tell my work is.

English outline two chapters, and write a long compostion [sic] every day. French is English translate into Fgench [sic], and Algebra do twenty example. I must do them all, Sometimes I can’t do them. Because to hard for me to do them all at same time. Well I try my best anyhow.
