Thanks for your letter and the statements covering Tsai's extra expenses. I am enclosing check herewith to cover the latter.
Yes, I did notice how much better Charlie not only speaks English but handles himself than his fellow countryman, Alfred. You have done a wonderful job with the former, and I hope in time that you will be able to get Alfred going, too, though I am well aware that his kiddishness seems still a bit irrepressible.
Excuse a hasty note, but I am just trying to clear up my desk after several days' absence and it isn't any too easy a task.
